About Us:

Taiyou Con is a family-friendly, three-day anime convention and Japanese festival held at the Mesa Convention Center. Our event serves as an introduction to various aspects of Asian pop culture, including anime, cosplay, video games, K-Pop, and diverse culinary options from Asian food trucks. With over 300 hours of interactive activities, there is something for everyone.

Beginning as a community event 15 years ago in a school with free admission and a duration of just eight hours, Taiyou Con has significantly evolved over the years. Our goal remains consistent: to facilitate memorable experiences for attendees while fostering a sense of community around shared interests in Japanese culture and beyond.
